Hi all, im parting with my beloved BBS wheels which ive had ever since i bought my FD, but now ive gone 19" and will have no room for these in the garage, but may come in handy for another FD lover http://www.fdowners.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif You will not find a set like these anywhere unless you import them unfortunatly.. and will cost you around the 4K mark new..
Fronts 18 x 8 +36
Rear 18 x 9 +36 (slightly dished)
Rubber 80% tread all round
Fronts are Firestone Firehawks 225/40
Rears are FULRUN HP199 265/35
The rear left tyre is leaking air slowly other than that, some gutter marks, Also comes with center caps in ok condition (i think it looks better with them off..) anyway they will go with the wheels too ill have to dig around to find them lol...

Those are 265s on the back remember.. its a little bumpy not bad at all, if they had been say 215s/225s then youd have bruises on either cheeks lol

must see pics when they aren't perfect so people can make up their minds if they still want them mate :)
What model BBS are those? where is the centre Cap? just with the face of the spokes and the centre PCD section, it doesnt look like any BBS wheel I have seen.... sorry if I am mistaken, but do you have the model name? I tend to know these things because I am a bit of a wheel whore lol

Thats because these BBS wheels are one of the hardest to find, there is no model name or anything just numbers "VIA" and "forged" written on them, if people are genuinely interested they can come over and have a look, ive had alot of tyre kickers lately, so no more pics.. ive never come across a set like these and im considering keeping them if nobody is going to snap them up soon..
Pics of the center caps.. oh look at that it says BBS..

You'd buy something sight unseen?
I don't think it's unreasonable to want to see the damage to determine of it's repairable or ignoreable..
But... your wheels, your choice..

the pics were taken on a digital camera, damaged? you think id have them on my car if they were damaged? its just gutter rash? and only on the rear the fronts hardly have much, if your genuinely interested you would make the effort to come over and have a look yourself, but i dont think your even slightly interested seeing as though your in adelaide.. if your not interested then dont say anything simple as that.

obviously this guys never heard of the wonder and miracle that is "SHIPPING" hahaha.. just koz someones in another state, dont mean they're not gonna buy... for all u know he has a mate in bris that can pick up and ship if u dont wanna do it urself..
i personally drove syd to canberra and back for an exhaust. wouldnt have done it sight unseen tho... thats just dumb...
not havin a go but if ur genuinely selling then whats the big deal with posting a couple of close up shots... not like it'll kill u... 10 secs to take em, 2mins to upload to the site... 130 seconds out of ur life is not asking alot for a pocket full of cash...
but then not everyone wants a pocket full of cash... i guess.. ;)

mate the pics have been posted its whether or not people are willing to come over and have a look, if your not interested then dont post anything.. i know these wheels are hard to get so if people are that worried about gutter rash on hard to find USED wheels then they shouldnt be asking as they should have this thought in mind when purchasing used wheels.
Plus, im negotiable on the price. So to sum it up, DONT POST IN THIS THREAD UNLESS ITS SOMETHING POSITIVE.

I have to say it should be mandatory to post a pic with something your selling particularly if your not verified or no one can vouch for you.
I've sold quiet a few things off forums in the past even to people from the US and all it took was a photo to get a buyers confidence so don't write people off just cause they are interstate.
Picture tells a thousand words so i say quit arguing with everyone and post the close up :(

If you aren't willing to post pics of the rash as requested, I suggest it might be a good idea that you do keep them.
You will continue getting tyre kickers until you wise up and post pics.
This thread is on life support, only your last minute first aid will save it.
