Well the time has come where i am forced to sell my beloved.

With the arrival of our first child, a pure 2 seater just doesn't work for us.

The car is Immaculate. Impeccably maintained and serviced religiously. Mechanically completely stock and unmolested. Aftermarket wheels (Work Emotion XD9, 18x8 Front and 18x9 rear - 99% new tyres - wheels and tyres are about 9 months old and done maybe 3000kms) and i do have the original FD wheels and tyres sitting at home as well if you would prefer it to be returned to stock. Original radio replaced with a Pioneer Avic touchscreen GPS/DVD/MP3/CD. Dash was not hacked in anyway for this to fit. I do have the original stock CD/Radio/Tape player that i took out which i can put back in very easily. Car has done 101,000 Km's and i have never ever had a single failure with it. Recently replaced the belts as a precaution and also replaced the clutch line between the master and the save cylinder with a Braided line as the original one started to leak slightly. Has never been raced or thrashed as i just drive it to/from work. Always garaged. Comes with original user manual, tool kit, space saver etc etc. As this is an Australian delivered model there is no back seat but there is a sunroof.

Looking for around the $30k mark but i am negotiable with a serious buyer.

Feel free to PM me for more info/picture/whatever.

Open to any reasonable offer guys! Life is not easy with a 2 seat car + mrs + kid.

Don't forget how rare this model is - Australian delivered Series 7, air con, central locking, sunroof, cruise control, power windows, mirrors etc etc. I am not sure how many S7 were actually brought into the country but it couldn't of been many.

.... I am not sure how many S7 were actually brought into the country, but it couldn't have been many.

By researching VIN info, I found that 108 S7's were sold here in Australia. There were only eight white S7's, and none of those were built after 1997 (only 23 FD's made in 1998, the last year for Australian FD's).

Your car may have been first registered in 1999, but it's likely a 1997 model. If your VIN is higher than JMOFD103400-100089 (Nov 1997) then let me know.

I've documented Australian FD sales in another thread in the Tech Reference part of the forum.

White is the rarest Australian FD colour, they only made twenty four in total....nice looking car, good luck with the sale.

Good info!

Yes it looks like first registered in 99. The VIN is 10087 so its looks like one of the last ones?

In that case, it's actually the very last white Australian FD.

The last one of the rarest colour sold.

Have you still got the (rotary powered!) Celica as well Tim?

Absolutely! It was either that had to go or the 7 had to go - sadly the 7 lost as i need a new 4 seat daily driver.

The Celica has now been tubbed, 9", coilovers and a half chassis :) so its still a good fun weekend car.

Tim, you've mispoken in your advert on CarPoint:

Only 8 White FD's were ever made for Australia and this was the last one, confirmed via VIN identification, and was number 87 of 89 FD's produced in that year - the last year that FD's were ever produced for Oz. This makes this car extremely rare and the 3rd newest FD available anywhere in Australia.

There were only eight white S7's, but there were another sixteen white S6's.

Your car is #41 of 43 for 1997 (the VIN's don't start at #1 each year)....and Mazda produced a further twenty three cars in 1998.

Taking the Celica to the strip has been on the to-do list for about 18months now. But in that time i have bought a house, renovating said house, had a kid and working 60hrs a week so there is limited time left for fun unfortunately. :(

I tend to cruise down beach rd quite a bit - its a great drive.
