So you've bought or sold something from/to a member on the forum and you'd like to leave some feedback about the transaction?

Luckily for you we have a facility that accommodates your wishes :). It's called iTrader, and we've had it here for a while now but not everyone knows about it.

The system adds one point for every positive rating, and subtracts a point for each negative one. The tally of your iTrader rating is listed below your avatar/username when you post, and is also visible on your profile.

I'll pick on wjp005 for a moment because he's the current iTrader poster child with 30 odd ratings....all positive :). Below is a snapshot of his iTrader page.

To leave feedback, click on the members name in a post or on the front page from the online list at the bottom of the screen. That'll take you to their profile page:

^^^From there, click on "View Full Profile for wjp005" (in this case).

That will take you to an expanded iTrader page (see below) where you'll be able to view all feedback, submit feedback, and see feedback that this member has left for others. It's easy, it's quick and it gives you some confidence when dealing with other knuckle dragging rotards like yourself ;).

You'll also see an iTrader link in the top right hand corner of each forum page. Click on it to discover even more iTrader features!!

Cheers Steve. I don't mind being the guinea pig :)

Actually, a few people have asked me how our iTrader system works (and how they go about leaving feedback). I think it's a valuable tool on the forums to establish credibility and honesty of people here.

There is a second way to access a members iTrader page if you are looking at a post of theirs. Click on their iTrader percentage or rating under their username/avatar.....that'll take you directly to the second page displayed in the first post of this thread.

I'm trying to leave positive feedback for another member, but when I click on their full profile, I get a message saying I don't have access.

Is it a feature only for verified members? (of which I am not one)

Hmmm, not sure...maybe it is.

I'll get The Stig to confirm.

Has anyone seen this error before when trying to leave feedback?
I tried submitting with and without the deal URL but I keep getting the same ambiguous error message...

I'm sure you're not still trying to leave a feedback from over a year ago, but I just came across this same issue myself and for the benefit of others in the future, this can be solved by leaving a comment in the additional comments box - for some reason this comment must also be a minimum of 10 characters.

I tried typing just "Thanks" and the error would still occur - but a "Thanks mate" would work.

Strange...
