FS: Damaged race FD RX7.

RX7 to be wrecked out.
car is a race car which has had a roll over.
body is no good but full of equipment and mechanical running gear.
mechanicals are fresh or new.
13B single turbo FD engine with new EFR turbo set up, 270 + kws at wheels.
built by Ric Shaw. has an M8 Motec ecu with logging all tuned.
fresh OS Giken clutch
fresh OS giken 5 speed close ratio gear box
new 4.44 Diff with new Kas clutch LSD
3.5" exhaust, no cat.
std fuel tank modified to 92 litres and internal fuel surge system/pumps inc
big brakes, 4 spot front.
just serviced race suspension.
race seat/harness
AFR guage/turbo Smart boost controller
the list goes on. All good stuff to go into a new shell.
car did a 2min 21 around Bathurst.

Why does this sort of deal come up when I don't have the money? Damn, cheap way to get a VERY fast FD. Those EFR turbos are awesome, and I have seen how fast this car was. The engine package alone, with the motec and data logging stuff is worth $12k
I just hope those horrible headlights never get used again.
From memory this had a lexan hatch too?

That's a bargain. When I did my V8 conversion I couldn't sell my car for $25000 but I parted out some bits and got almost $23,000 and still had the roller!

This FD with this running gear was very fast and recorded the fastest lap ever by an FD at BATHURST I think. That was the day before it had a little issue at The Chase. LOL.

BARGAIN. Good luck with the sale. My experience is you'll get over $25,000 easily if you actually part it out.

A FD shell chez Burgo's at present, which could be caged out a la sledgie pretty quick, could get Sam back out there if he's still got any enthusiasm left.

Yes all ok thanks . They now call me "Martini", shaken but never stirred .
This car flew! Just needed the brakes to work! As I was spinning I was pumping them and there was nothing!!!!!
The running Gear it all good, don't let the body work faze you.
Even the seat is ok, no hard hits, rolling in gravel will not hurt the important stuff.
