As noted last week Id be selling my car, well here it is.

Service History

Japan: Knightsports tuned and service
Aus: REVS in S.A.

Mazda RX7 2000 Type RS Series 8 that is completely complianced, engineered and thus street legal.

Exterior
Genuine Veilside D1 GT Body Kit 5k
Custom Respray in Spies Hecker premium clear coat in Black with Gold pearl 12k
Removed mirrors from doors, removed rear wiper blade and antenna for cleaner/smoother look
F1 Chrome mirrors

Wheels
Enkei RP03 18 x 8 and 18 x 9.5 lightweight racing wheels, offsets +38 and +40
Bridestone Potenza Adrenalin 235/35 and 265/35 only 100kms done on them

Suspension
Stock springs. If you want a nice daily driver then dont change this suspension as imo its fantastic. :) Maybe im becoming an old man...

Interior
Pioneer CD Player
RX8 Gearknob and also have spare Veilside gearknob.
Billion VFC Water temperature guage

Engine
HKS Air filter
Plumb back blow off valve via air filter
HKS Exhaust manifold
3" Silenced rear muffler & Cat system
Stock ECU with Knighsports ROM chip to 10 pounds with approx. 175kwrw
Daikon Heavy Duty clutch, however very easy to drive normally.
Knightsports Lightened Flywheel


Car History & Modifications:
Im the second owner in Australia and purchased the car with almost 94,000kms on the clock. It was originally blue, until I decided I wanted to make it my show car for my detailing business and so I resprayed it in a custom colour Black with Gold pearl, this was done by a quality repairer in SA and thus cost 12k (the paint alone cost 3k). It is extremely well maintained, condition of car needs to be seen to be believed, considering I actually drive it on the road a couple times per week (and not just tuck it away in the corner of the garage). Car has been fully engineered.

What specifically has been engineerd:
- Seat Belts ADR 4/00 compliant
- Factory rear window tint in glass
- Factory ECU.

Mileage: 99,778kms and wont be driven to its sold.

Location: Adelaide

Why im selling: Well I have only done just over 5,000 kms in 20 months, so I dont really use it enough to justify keeping it. But the main reason is I really want to get into some track days however I could never track this car as condition is just too good. So Ill buy a cheaper used track FD instead.

No. Plates: Current 'GlowRida' plates are not included with sale, will be returned with standard plates.

Price
Priced dropped to $30,000 with stock 17 RS rims, want another 3k for the Enkei rims.

Current rims I purchased from Bridgestone Oaklands Park, I know the owner pretty well his name is Phil.

The Enkei wheels set me back 2.5k, but worth every penny for a good replacement to the RS wheels. The RS wheels are very good and are underated.

An update to the sale of my car.

Im dropping price to $35,500 ONO as i will be removing Knightsports Bonnet and RE-Amemyia Rear Spoiler from car and replacing with stock bonnet and RS spoiler all resprayed in same colour of course. :) See original post with updated details.

I think very well priced now considering what stock RS's sell for.

Na hyrola, I could have sold it for 28k 18 months ago, but decided it was too cheap and thought id just keep it.

Now 18 months later hindsight would suggest I should have taken that 28k lol

Oh well 24.5k is the lowest i can go, as that is the amount i need, so I thought of instead of putting it for a higher price on this forum, Id give a member to get it a great price straight up with no messing around.

If I think about it the paint job cost me 12k so whats that saying about how much the rest of the car is worth!!

Someone please take it off my hands so i can stop crying... :(

Sale of vehicle completed last Sunday guys.

FD is now out of my life, I swapped it for an white EVO 7 with black wheels, so if you see me driving around give me a wave.

I was probably the most unhappiest new car owner on Sunday, so upset about losing the FD!

New owner is a good guy, he'll look after it and its staying local so I hope to see it from time to time.

Hey all, I'm the guy who swapped the evo with Joe's RX7. I guess we were both in the same situation - we needed to move our cars but had 'limited' interest. I've always wanted an FD, so I now get my wish!

However... at the end of the day I still need to free up some cash, so the RX7 will still be for sale (and I will consider part trades with cash my way). I'll officially put it on carsales and forums soon, but will enjoy it on the weekends in the meantime!
