Wanted to buy or Swap: Coilovers

Hey guys.

I'm after some coilovers for my race only FD. Prefer secondhand (on a budget) and adjustable would be ideal.

Currently I'm running Bilstein shocks with Tein springs that look like this:

Although this setup is good and has a good ride height, I'm after something stiffer for the track. So if you bought your car with coilovers installed and want something a little bit more forgiving for the street, I'd be interested in discussing a possible swap with you.

Contact via PM or [email protected]

Located in Newcastle, occasionally in Sydney, or I'll arrange postage.

Alternatively, if someone just wants to buy this suspension, make me an offer and I might go down that route and put the money towards bringing some used coilovers in from Japan.

Cheers.

That combination seems to be quite popular in Japan.

Yeah it is a good compromise and I'm happy with the setup.

IMO it is ideal for a street/occasional track car.

I'd just like something a bit stiffer and maybe adjustable for the track. ;)

Yeah sorry, should have mentioned that!

Spring rates are:

Front: 7.8kg
Rear: 5.8kg

Ride height is:

Front: -20mm from OEM
Rear: -25mm from OEM

Let me know what sort of $$$ for a swap rfah (if you're keen)

You dont want to go to stiff for a hillclimb car though ;) As you know Its all about traction of the line.

Yeah I know, that's why I want an adjustable setup.

And think I will buy some different sets of springs to allow me to set the car up depending on the event.

Thanks for your concern though.....:p:

No problems, just looking out for a fellow hillclimber :)

Different springs for different tracks is a great idea, im just not sure I could be stuffed changing them lol

I have some great condition pair of Cusco front coilovers (no rears).

I can take some pictures of them if you are interersted in a swap.
