Not going to be an easy find locally, a sheet metal shop with a guillotine and a spot welder could make the straps easy enough....front fitting required may be the stumbling block.

Could try ringing Joe Evans first thing Monday @SSS 9896-8111 as it sounds like his business partner's father-in-law is destroying a whole car in Japan and he might be able to salvage some for the return leg.....although probably not worth his time.
