If you want good fitment, from my experience you have to pay the dollars.

You could get a seibon or the likes, but they may not fit to your liking, i don't think any of them will.

Save up and get a genuine one from RHDjapan?

Yep, that's what I'm doing, saving for the genuine scoot item, athough from what I'm told the originals don't often fit better either, check Davo's AD9 to see what I mean :p:

I seen daves, he should have sent it back.. it is definately a manufacturing defect. He bought 3 of them and the other 2 he sold were perfect and he got the dud one :(

my scoot cost me $2800 in frp, $300 less than rhd japan. shop around and you'll find a good price. alternatively you could also try shine in the states.

Nope seibon claim to be a good fit but i have now heard quite a few stories that they do not fit as good as they claim.

I have a seibon KS bonnet, it was a shocking fit... i had to modify the hell out of the mounting arms :(

RHDJapan do bulk deals on 2x RE-A AD9's:
http://www.rhdjapan.com/home/products/package_details_new.php?action=Default&int_package_id=62

Pity they don't do the deal on Scoots - but if there's a couple of people after them it might be worth contacting them to see if something can be organised.
