Damn shame your not seeing it through Rix, My modified disco potato FD will be tuned within a month and a half....can't wait... I like yourself have taken the extra time to do things correctly, match porting and just the usuall spending of countless hours getting things right..

Best of luck. And to be perfeclty honest with you I'm shocked, Your so close. WTF why are you not seeing it through, Or did yo urealise that you should get a better return selling it in bits rather than complete??

The battery kit has already been sold im afraid I dont know how much they are over there but I can get them for £105 new, so factor in about £45 for shipping it does become quite expensive but then again it might not be as much as Aus...

Well to get it where I want it the car still needs another £2-£3k spending on it before its finished. Which would bring the total up to £44k give or take in the last 5 years. So tbph whats the point...I might aswell let it go and buy something that I will be able to run around in and have fun at the same time. In the end thats why we buy these cars, to have fun. If that fun factor is taken away then what are you left with?? An endless drain on finances, extra stress and heartache (Unless your Sandy) So I finally made the decision on Sunday night to part it out...


P.S-I got the engine in last week too which makes it even worse :(

£600 for the headlights buddy.
Short shifter is £150, I've owned all the short shifters made for the FD (B&M,Re-A,MS,Egay etc) and this is by far the best one.
The RE stuff would have to go together as a complete package for £450 because just the UIM would be useless to you without the matching LIM or spacer plate.

Yes bud split it a few years ago and sent it off for polishing. It need buffing up with abit of Autosol but I can do that that before sending it for you :) £100 plus shipping
