How do I go about getting banned from this forum?
A.
1. Scam or Spam People. We absolutely respect the privacy of our members. We NEVER pass their information to anyone without authorisation. We NEVER send out "offers" for services or parts, and we won't allow others to do so. There is a trading section for that sort of thing, where everything is out in the open, and people can rate their experiences in the trading system for the benefit of all. Dealing "in the dark" with PM's, SMS's and emails benefits ONLY the seller in the long run, and you should rightly be suspicious of anybody who acts that way.
2. Spread incorrect or try to constantly enforce one sided information. There is a WEALTH of FD information on this site, provided by enthusiastic people who have first-hand experience or knowledge. Different is not necessarily better, and respect has to be earned - not demanded.
3. Cause un-necessary work for the Moderators. If you make more work for the Moderation Team than you are worth, why should we be bothered with you? We're here to help people and to enjoy ourselves, not solve the problems of the world, or put up with tantrums from people.
4. Abuse or threaten members. This is an area the moderation team take very seriously. Threats of physical violence will be actioned with immediate and permanent bannings.
5. Multiple User Accounts - Only one account is allowed per user. The second account created will be instantly permanently banned, and the primary account will issued a 1 week banning on first occurence, progressing through to a 1 month ban, and then a permanent ban for all accounts.
In summary, we don't take banning people lightly.
There is always a lot of discussion by the Moderation Team before even a temporary ban.
We have only banned a few people permanently - one at his own request.
So join in, have fun, be a part of our community!
