To further protect our members, photos in the garage and albums are now only viewable by verified members. Look for a link below the text entry box for any new post or reply that says "Add image to post". Clicking on that will take you to postimg.org, where you can upload your image into either the general space there, or create albums of your own, and group like image subjects together. Once you've uploaded your image, you will be returned to your post, and the image posting code will have been insterted automatically for you. Finally, please remember that all for-sale adverts MUST carry an image of the actual item being sold, or a moderator will delete the post. This requirement is a result of requests by users, and is of benefit to all - it helps to eliminate any confusion about the item, and also assists in determining the condition of the item, which reduces "surprises" for the purchaser. Don't forget to use the iTrader system every time you buy or sell something!

Explanation

'Smilies' are small graphical images that can be used to convey an emotion or feeling. If you have used email or internet chat, you are likely familiar with the smilie concept. Certain standard strings are automatically converted into smilies. Try twisting your head on one side if you do not 'get' smilies; using a bit of imagination should reveal a face of some description.

If you want to disable smilies in a post that you make, you can select the 'Disable Smilies' option when posting. This is particularly useful if you are posting program code and you do not want ;) converted to a smilie face!
