FS: Discounted odometer check by JOC.

Members who've been here a while know that the forum is doing all it can to expose dodgy sellers who alter the odometer readings on FD's imported from Japan.

In Japan, cars have to be inspected every two years. Part of the inspection is an odometer check and the readings are recorded. Japanese Odometer Check (JOC) can provide you with a watermarked certificate from the Japanese Bureau of Traffic that states the odometer reading of your vehicle at the time of the last two registrations going back four years from the date of export.

As part of our ongoing battle against fraud, the forum has negotiated a standing discount of 15% off the standard eBay prices when they use JOC and pay using Paypal. Currently, that's a saving of around $10 on the Regular check and $13 on the Express check.
