How to get rid of the shoutbox ?

I never use the shoutbox. How can i make it go away ? It takes quite some place on the screen.

Well I must admit, I have only used the shoutbox once. But it is of interest to glance at regularly, as sometime real time and interesting issues are only discussed there. In the end, you can always scroll down the screen, and how hard is that really.

I like efficiency. I don't like to have a million stuff on the page. I'd actually love to have only the threads and nothing else. But the shoutbox away would be a good start.
