Email notifications of PMs

New server is great, however for some reason I've not been receiving email notifications of new PMs from this forum. Anyone else had this issue?

All good here. I'm receiving the standard notification via email when receiving a personal PM.

I'm using a yahoo.co.uk mail box

Maybe check your email junk folder? Or the setting in your FDRX7.com user profile (assume it has one)?

Checked the address.

I have been receiving messages from other parties on the nominated address without incident.

Nothing has changed except the server here.

I haven't changed modem, ISP, user name, or any other settings.

Nothing in my SPAM.

They simply aren't being sent to the nominated address.

Period.

It seems that iinet and a few other (probably associated) ISP's are blocking our emails.

We don't appear on any blacklists anywhere..

I've already raised it with them , and they don't appear to be interested.

You'll need to take it up with them James, or provide a gmail or other external email address..

This makes a little sense now.

A long time ago, I had to get into the email filtering section of my TPG account and add @fdrx7.com to an allowed list of email addresses.

Before I did it, I wouldn't get emails from the forum, and they also didn't show up in any spam folder or anything at all. They just never happened.


Log into your email through your ISP's web based page and look for an email filtering option.

It wasn't just this forum either by the way. I also had to allow emails from domain that work uses (government domain), as well as a few others.

This appears to be resolved now, and emails are being delivered once again.
