Re: The FD for sale thread. (Gumtree,Ebay,CarSales etc..)
Not surprised by the $166k, but I am surprised by the people supposedly buying the Spirit A's from matey for $150k.

Re: The FD for sale thread. (Gumtree,Ebay,CarSales etc..)
A few months ago there were a bunch of reasonable ones on carsales in the 50k range, then they went to $80k plus and now there are only three listed. Gone are the times where you could pick up a RX7 at a decent price.
Real shame if prices do not go down after COVID. at least a little bit.
But hey at list they are not Skyline prices although this is getting there: https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/det...SE-AD-7406820/

Spirit R Type B, 1600km, $225,000:

If sold at that price, it would make this the most expensive RX7 ever sold in Australia or Japan for that matter. I think only 1 has sold for more, which was a Type A in Hong Kong.
I recall this car going up for sale a few years ago and the mileage hasn't changed. Expensive paper weight that can't be driven or enjoyed....or sold apparently.
EDIT: was last on carsales in February 2020 listed for $210,000 before being taken down. Mileage hasn't changed.
