REVS covers finance, PPSR is what you need.
Doesn't take much for an insurer to write off oldish cars, especially with part prices for these.

Thanks for the help guys. Here you go;
This vehicle has been recorded as a statutory write-off. This vehicle can only be used for spare parts, and cannot be repaired and re-registered in NSW or anywhere else in Australia. Roads and Maritime Services website has more information about statutory written-off vehicles at rms.nsw.gov.au.
So this dude is selling a written off car for 36k and not one mention of it on the ad? The dodginess is overwelming, hopefully no one buys the thing.
Did you report the ad on carsales?
There is a mention of it in the add but it is buried in the details section that is easily passed over.
I wonder who this could be referring to?
"OEM Mazda products were used for servicing supplied via a well known FD enthusiast in the community"
Yes, reported. Any thoughts on this car?

Only asking $15k.
Not a bad way to buy into an FD if you ask me...
that fd was up for sale on facebook for $13,000 ono a week ago and was sold, looks like the guy wants to make a quick profit.
There were a couple of dead Fd's at the workshop i take my car to, they sold for about $7000 each.... so if you are looking for Dead FD's for a project to build up.
There's cheaper out there.
Version 4 must be a personal import? Red interior?
Found this on Facebook today, I think I may be a bit out of touch but since when is a Type RB-S fetching this sort of price? Seems to have swapped the dash or at least the backlights

Bit of a flat spot with the transition there..
Stock body S8s are getting very rare nowadays. Importing is also a huge lucky dip so getting a well sorted one locally is probably the best option for most people.
I think it is a little expensive considering that it's a V5 with (relatively) high kms and no rego but the wheels and mods are worth a bit.
Might help...
