OK, there is obviously enough interest to justify a calendar run!

As we have a short timeframe to make this happen, the Moderation Team will be selecting the best pictures for the Calendar.

Shortly, you'll be able to submit your favourite picture of your car, and you'll also be able to place your order on-line.

The price is more than first thought, due to paypal fees, postage being more than expected, and that we'll be doing a smaller print run than we anticipated. Get your order in via the Shoop - it will be strictly first come , first served!

The Mod team will determine how pictures will be selected..

The pictures will need to be Hi-Res, so likely the Album won't cut it, the owners will need to supply a suitable picture.

No, my car aint no show pony! Plus it's always covered in Port Kembla steel grit. There are much nicer little lasses out there to oogle And Definitely no more wiring pictures! I am already seeing a therapist twice a week, thanks

Guys since its summer and all... with this calender on its way and everybody would want a picture of their baby in this calender... I think its time to organize some good quality high res car photo shoots!!!!!!!! !!

I was thinking it over and realised people might get bored seeing the usual same old photos in the 2010 calender... we need new photos!! 2010 photos!!

Each state can organise their own photo shoot day obviously.

Maybe set a specific date to submit photos and have people vote on it... does seem like a long process (and not enough time, with 2010 just around the corner) but whoever deticates the time and effort on short notice can be apart of it i suppose.

Personally I don't necessarily think the photo's need to be of fdrx7.com forum members rides. Although it would be good, like it's been pointed out time is an issue. Maybe the 2011 version can feature forum member rides only.

I would gladly hand over $20-$30 for a nice, professional calendar featuring fd's. Strictly FD's only and no horrible engine transplanted ones either, I don't want that crap hanging on my wall.

Question would we be organizing desk or wall calenders? Or Both?

I'm sure Brian (Dai Oni) our "Japanese Correspondent" could supply high resolution photo's of many saucy fd's. His thread "Kobe Rotary Tuning Fair 2009" featured many nice shots for example.

Anyways I'm in, one of each type would be cool.

Johnny if u want to take pics I'm gonna head out around 5pm to get a few shots done with a mate. Any melbournians are more than welcome to come - just PM me for number...

Hey; great to see we are all getting into the spirit of things! Lots of good ideas coming along. I reckon this should be an annual event, guys, so if your ride aint up to it, then make sure it is for the next year's calendar.
Not sure whether there are provisions on the calendar for this (there does look like there might be some space) to include owner's name and model of car. Might be a nice touch.

great idea, i will DEFINITLEY take one! for the guys in adelaide we could organise a BIG shoot that way maybe we can feature multiple cars in a single shoot, i know a few pro photographers if needed, they normally take fotos of chicks lol, but an fd aint that different from a chick anyways lol

Could always edit the provided photo's to include the fdrx7.com logo along with owners name, model etc.

I really hope this comes to fruition. I've always liked the simplicity of the http://speedhunters.com calanders. Nice site for some decent resolution pics too. I've modified the fd calendar back from January 2009 a few times when I can be bothered. Here's this months edition,
