Sold items (How to get a free Thanks!)

Just asking. Is there anyway to remove the items in the classifieds section that have been sold. I'm not sure who does this, but most of the parts for sale are sold, and I think it would be beneficial to remove the 'sold' Items after a certain period of time.

All the seller has to do is say "item sold", and a Mod will edit the title to reflect that.

I'm not in favour of deleting the threads....they often have good pics and are a good indication of where the market is at.

All we have to do now is convince the sellers/buyers to post about the status of the trade .

It's the same for the WTB section, if the seeker finds the bit he wants it'd be great if he posts that fact so the title can be edited.

Hey guys. Could you please PM a moderator when a particular part has been SOLD. Either in chatbox or as a forum PM.

Gets frustrating when you PM someone about a part for sale to find that it sold months ago.

I agree with Steve. There is no real need to delete threads for stuff that has been found or sold. But it is a simple matter to change the title of the thread, or at most to close said thread.

They get a free thanks from me if they post that the item is sold.....
