Another 1600km round trip to look forward to! Not even sure who is good for a tune in QLD any more.

Sounded like he'd be a doctor or something, not short of coin by the sounds. He's upgrading to a 20b for a track setup I believe, he said to make an offer on the big brake kit but I didn't want to offend him lol, tax man wasn't that generous.

He's got the old extend port 13b and Borg Warner turbo kit and a 20b or 2 he'd be happy to sell if I know anyone that's interested... Got off track and forgot to ask what turbo it was but I'm guessing efr of some sort?.. Seems like a reasonable bloke so might be a cheap kit for someone? Reckons he has heaps of 13b parts he has no use for anymore

Did wonder how much he'd want for one of the xcessive manifolds in the background of his ad.

Half expecting an LS conversion by the tone of the ad!

Bit weird on the brakes, not really a brand I'd expect, if he was intending racing the thing with a sequential box. Might ask about that engine though, if it's not totally destroyed.

Pair of front rotor (Brembo) for an FD.

I think these will be the smaller brakes. Not suitable for RS/RZ...

    $100 can't go wrong.

Old mate came through with the goods, scored the wideband and can hub for an extra 200, didn't realise haltech had released a new CAN O2 kit that I now want instead lol. Good bargain though

    Only asking $6,500.

A few years ago I was bidding on 1 and missed out, because I wasn't willing to pay more than $1,500 for it lol.

I remember looking at the white Mazdaspeed cluster for $400 and thinking why would you pay that much for a cluster a while back....lol if only I knew
having a v8 in an fd is like opening a playboy magazine and seeing some bloke pulling his cock..it just isn't supposed to be there.

This sort of thing isn't uncommon. Spoon (Honda Tuner) Integra Type R clusters are fetching $6k these days. Whoever pays that much for a cluster is just building a car to impress the internets. 4 years ago I paid less than that for a whole running and driving DC2 Type R (which needed work of course).

Prices of certain parts are certainly getting out of hand on YAJ!

I have been fortunate enough to score a lot of bargains over the years (with hindsight and all that). Glad I got my RZ Recaro's before the silly money they get now.

I knew that was going to happen eventually, that's why I bought my set when I could. I remember paying 1000 GBP for them when I was living in Europe and people telling me they were over priced back then! .

I had seem similar trends with my S30Z (240z's) prior with prices of parts getting out of hand: I managed to find these seats a while back for my 240z.

They were used in the works rally 240z's and Fairlady Z432R race cars back in the 70s.

I only know a couple of people have these seats, they are not very comfortable, but I love them because they are period correct. Like the RZ's in the FD they just suit the car.

For those thinking about getting a Super Pro bush kit it is 20% off from Spares Box via eBay until 27 June so it is about $440 rather than $550. eBay Item No. 154462782284
